About the Artist

My name is Pang Vang, born and raised in Saint Paul, MN in 1991. I discovered my passion for drawing in kindergarten, inspired by my mom's flower sketches and introduction to anime. Shows like Sailor Moon and Fushigi Yuugi captivated me early on, sparking a lifelong interest.While I've taken breaks from drawing over the years, it wasn't until the beginning of 2022 that I committed to pursuing it wholeheartedly. Starting with my favorite characters, I honed my skills through practice and learning from art books and manga illustrations. Now, I create whimsical illustrations primarily in graphite and black ink, often accompanied by music.Currently, I work from home, but occasionally find inspiration drawing at Starbucks or Caribou.
